Our invited quilt guild artists from the Thread Heads and Hi-Fiber will be   complemented by this call for entry:

2 Entries/ $35.00 

Open to all media. Just use your imagination!

Any artwork featuring quilts or graffiti  OR

any image created in the style or pattern of quilt or graffiti art.  

Three winning entries will be eligible for permanent installation on garage bay doors at Gateway [with permission]. Board of Directors choices will be based on viewer votes.

Quilts must be designed and sewn wholly by the artist.  2D and hanging 3D work must be equipped to hang with eye hooks and wire.   Paper media should be framed and under glass. Gallery wrapped canvas edges should be finished. Standing 3D must sit solidly, be fully assembled and not weigh over 50lbs.

Art Drop Off Dates: 10 – 5pm

Friday, March 30      Saturday, March 31      Monday, April 2

Opening Reception: April 6, 2018  5:00 – 7:30 pm

Speaker Laurel Horton, Quilt Historian, will be on hand to lend her insight into the history of quilts in our area.  Join us for heavy appetizers and beverages while you explore this vibrant and interesting exhibit

Community Participation Opportunity

If you have a family heirloom quilt that you would like to display at no charge, now is  the time to give it the recognition it deserves. Fill out the Community section on the downloadable entry form [link below] and bring it to the gallery on one of the            listed Art Drop off days. We will display it in a special location during our opening celebration.
