Terms and Conditions for Display

• Only original art no older than 2 years, unless otherwise stated.
• No work previously shown in the gallery will be accepted unless you are part of an invitational exhibit. If applicable, work previously shown or older than 2 yrs will be removed from award consideration.
• Affix name, title and price to each piece.
• 2d Work must be properly equipped to hang with eye hooks and wire. No Sawtooth or factory installed hooks on cardboard backing please. We hang from rails at the ceiling and have very limited nail-capable wall space.  
• Gallery-wrapped canvas must have finished edges - all others must be framed.
• 3d Work must sit solidly on a flat surface and weigh less than 40 pounds OR be equipped to be hung securely from the the ceiling. Please contact us prior to submission.
• Fiber Art must have a dowel fitted to the width of the piece equipped with eye hooks. 
• Sales: We allow purchasers may take work prior to show end, therefore we accept additional work of similar dimensions to replace sold pieces. Commission rate: Member 15%/  Non-Member 30%.    Unsold work must remain for show duration.
• Promotions:  Postcards and print advertising will be provided in most cases. 

             Self-promotion is expected. Gateway reserves the right to use photographs of all submitted 

             work for advertising purposes.

• Work left longer than 30 days after show end without contact from the artist becomes property of Gateway Arts Center. If you are unable to meet published deadlines, please make arrangements by phone. We are flexible.

• You must be a member to participate in either venue.
• Inventories are required including: Title, Price, Medium/Description
• Gateway reserves the right to use photographs of all submitted work for promotional purposes.
